Freedom to Connect 2008
If you are interested in a deep dive into Internet connectivity in the United States, then you will want to attend the March 31-April 1 Freedom to Connect conference, to be held in Washington, DC, and produced by former Berkman Fellow David Isenberg.
Freedom to Connect will bring together those with an interest in the Net policy-making process and will provide an opportunity to galvanize thought around Net policy issues before the next FCC en banc hearing at Stanford, on April 17. The conference will feature a slew of incredible speakers, including Berkman alumnus Tim Wu and many others, on topics such as politics and the Internet, open fiber, open wireless, our rights online, the state of the Internet, and the carbon negative Internet.
Registration is now open. Prices will go up after March 27.
The event will be webcast for those unable to make it in person.
